Noosa National Park
The Coastal Walk is one of the most popular treks around the headland of Noosa towards Sunshine Beach. Dolphins, whales and koalas are often spotted and there are a variety of walks with some family friendly, and others for great exercise. Within easy walking distance from Hastings Street it is convenient for those staying without transport.
Eumundi Markets
The Eumundi Markets has a diverse and amazing range of art, craft, products, entertainment and local produce. It operates on Wednesdays 8am~1:30pm & Saturdays 7am~2pm and additional days and times operate around the holiday seasons. About a 20 minute drive from Noosa it can be accessed via car, shuttle, bus or taxi.
Buderim Falls
With a tropical feel and two access points this is a relatively light walk, ideal for all ages and fitness levels (depending on which access point you use). With a little swimming hole and a great view of the waterfall it makes for a fun walk. Buderim is about a 30 minute drive from Noosa and can be accessed by car or bus.
Fraser Island
Noosa provides a perfect escape to World Heritage listed Fraser Island and surrounds. Many tour operators depart from Noosa or look at hiring a 4WD and doing it yourself. With over 184,000 hectares it is the largest sand island in the world!
