Fishing is a popular activity on boat hire
What better way to pass the time by throwing a line in and seeing what bites. Noosa River is home to extensive marine life and fish can include Bream, Flathead, Whiting, Trevally and even Mangrove Jack just to name a few. Avid fisherman will often be out on the water by 5am and sometimes not return until late afternoon. For those of us just wanting to take things a little less seriously it can be a fun side attraction whilst hiring a boat.
Do you include fishing gear?
Our boat hire includes 2x rods, 2x handlines, bucket, knife, tackle box (hooks, sinkers, swivels) & cutting board. For kayak hire a fishing rod can be hired for $5 for the term of the hire (multiday hire excluded). Although we would not recommend fishing whilst on a stand up paddle board. Bait is available for purchase from the office and at the time of writing we stock prawns, squid, worms and pilchards.
Where should we fish?
This will depend on your departure time, duration, craft hired and numerous other variables. However feel free to ask a member of our team for advice on the day.
