Go Noosa Holidays
Go Noosa aims to provide a relaxed and fun travelling experience for locals and visitors over the busy Christmas and Easter holiday periods.
Free Buses
Selected buses are free during the Queensland Christmas and Easter school holiday periods, including the popular 065 Go Noosa Loop Bus.
2022/23 dates:
- Christmas – from 10 December 2022 to 22 January 2023
- Easter – from 1 to 16 April 2023.
Temporary Route 064 Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads
The 064 Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads service runs north every 60 minutes from 7:30am to 5:30pm and south from 8:00am to 6pm. Clickhere [2.3MB] for timetable.
065 Go Noosa Loop Bus
The 065 Go Noosa Loop Bus travels in a clockwise direction servicing Hastings Street, Noosa Drive, Weyba Road and Noosa Parade. The service operates approximately every 15 minutes from 7am – 7pm and every 30 minutes from 7pm – 10pm. The 065 service will operate every 30 minutes from 7pm New Year’s Eve until 1am New Year’s Day.

Please note: Routes 620, 622, 630 and 631 travel outside of the Noosa Shire Council area and are not included in the free service.
Park & Ride
Park the car and hop on a free bus. Long stay car parking is available at the AFL Football grounds on Weyba Rd, Noosa Junction – The J and Noosa Junction Transit Centre.
Noosa Ferry
The ferry operates 9am to 6pm, between Noosa Marina (Tewantin) and Hastings Street (Sofitel Jetty). Discounted frequent travellers passes are available for both locals and visitors. Visit noosaferry.com or call 5449 8442 for more information.

Spend more time at the beach and less time looking for a park, it only takes 20 minutes to ride a push bike from Tewantin to Hastings Street. Get there even faster on an e-bike or e-scooter. Park front and centre at one of our many convenient bike rack locations along Hastings Street, Main Beach and the Noosa National Park.

Noosa Heads Lions Park – Paid Parking
During the Easter and Christmas Go Noosa holiday season, the Noosa Heads Lions Park is usually opened up for paid parking at a flat fee of $20. The paid parking is managed by the Tewantin-Noosa Lions Club, on behalf of Noosa Council, with 50% of the revenue going towards their charitable works. The park is open from 8.30am to 5:30pm on selected days across all 2022-23 Queensland school holidays.
Boat Trailer Parking
The Noosa Sea Scouts offer boat trailer parking at their campground conveniently located near the Noosa River. Trailer parking is $10 a day or $50 for a week with all proceeds going to the Sea Scouts Program. For more information call 5473 0028 Email:bookings@noosaseascouts.com.au.
In addition, a number of local Noosa storage facilities are also able to provide boat trailer parking for short and long term stays.
Lockers and surfboard storage
Lockers are available at the former Police Beat Building, 48 Hastings Street, or on the southern side of the Noosa Heads Surf Lifesaving Club. Prices vary ranging on size of locker and length of time required.
