03 Nov Seafood always a treat on a warm day

It’s no secret that Christmas is the time for seafood. As the thermometer rises with those summer temperatures kicking in why not bring along some seafood for a picnic on the water. Noosa River has so many little beaches that you can spend some alone time with that significant other. If you’re a family man why not let the kids jump off for a swim and purchase some sand toys in store to keep them occupied.

Noosa has plenty of options for seafood close by. “Nosh Express” sells fish and chips along with cooked prawns and sometimes oysters. If you want to go more extravagant about a 5 minute drive away check out “Noosa Junction Seafood Market” for a selection of cooked bugs, prawns and a selection of todays catch. “Coles” and a bottle shop is also located near the market only a short walk if you wanted to get further supplies.

For people hiring a boat we are happy to provide you with an esky so just bring along some ice in addition to any other supplies and make a day out of it. If hiring a kayak or a SUP why not check out a fish and chip shop whilst out on adventure and refuel those energy levels.
